Want to keep up with the PC World community through RSS feeds? Our new system has lots of RSS options! You can have RSS feeds for communities, tags, and people.
To have a feed for a particular user, click on their username to go to their profile. On the right, in the Actions menu, you will see a link for "Member RSS Feed". This will give you an RSS feed of every post, document, blog, etc that the user makes in the community. For example, here is the RSS feed for me: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/allcontent?targetUser=kellie
To subscribe to all content across all communities, use this feed URL: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/allcontent?communityID=1
To subscribe to all blog posts across all communities, use this feed URL: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/blogs?communityID=1
To subscribe to all documents across all communities, use this feed URL: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/documents?communityID=1
To subscribe to all popular discussions across all communities, use this feed URL: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/popularthreads?communityID=1
To subscribe to all discussions across all communities, use this feed URL: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/threads?communityID=1
To subscribe to all content tagged with a particular word or phrase, click that tag in the tag cloud, and use the RSS feed for that tag. For example, here is the feed for the tag Clearspace: http://forums.pcworld.com/community/feeds/tags/clearspace
So, you would replace /clearspace with whatever particular tag you wanted to track across all communities.
If having content from all communities is too much for you, you can subscribe to feeds within a specific community. To find a community's RSS feeds, click the community name. In the panel on the right side, under Notifications, you will see a selection titled "View RSS Feeds". Clicking this will take you to the RSS feed page for that community.
